Tap at the brewpub. Pours purple/reddish/berry/copper with a creamy pinkish head. Medium body with foamy carbonation. It is definitely a sour (based on balck berry-12 months in oak - 6 months with berries). It is berry sour. There’s astringent oak. It’s wonderful.

Malty/rye aroma. Dark amber pour. Flavor is rye and fruit with a decent amount of bitter. Finishes well balanced. Quite tasty.

Tap at the brewpub as Autumn Gose. Quite fruity overall with a lot of tang in the finish. Almost fruit ciderish. Definitely some salt in the finish. Better than the German version IMO.

750ml bottle @Pauls Gathering courtesy Vferg-pours a dissipating light tan head and cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is tart fruit/vinegar, medium malt. Taste is tart fruit/vinegar, medium malt, some spice hops. Medium body. Good effervescence.

Pours deep clear amber into a snifter. Head quickly subsides, but is constantly regenerating. Sour apricot and oak aromas. Dry and crisp with sour apricot and summer pit fruit upfront. Turning to a tart and lasting oak finish.

Bottle 75cl. [ As my rating # 11000 on ratebeer ]. Unclear medium amber brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry sour, cherry, wine, wood - oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate acidic and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090913]

More of a black than an IPA. Dark brown with thick white head. Mild aroma hop very present. More of a roast malty flavour, with a hop finish. I really question whether this could be considered an IPA.
