Sample at GABF 10/10/2026, thanks to Beer Savant for assistance with note-taking. Flat black pour with a medium thin beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Oak, malt and bourbon aroma. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon character and flavors of roast malt and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
