Clear yellow, fine smoth white head..
bitter hoppy aroma - grapefruit peel - bordering sulphuric, crisp malty base. judging by aroma this can go either way, but the likelihood of supergreat flavor is there. super crisp aroma. tons of pine needles might be what i felt as sulphuric. flavor is flowery, pine needles, sawdust, sweet sawdusty hay like note i don't fancy much, the beer is quite sugary sweet, the bitterness is okay, but not really something that seems to match the malts and sweetness. the beeer is very crisp, which is a bit confusing given the sweetness. not ordinary. in a few subtle ways, reminds me of various belgian and french lagers i've had over the years. Imperial biere de garde, but made a bit more industrially and controlled. fairly easy drinking. I was looking forward to a traditional west coasty IPA so a bit disappointed. Not bad though. In some settings i would probably have one of these again.

Can from Ale Arsenal. Pours clear light gold with small white head that fades to a collar of small bubbles with sporadic dusting over the top. Aroma is massive papaya, lemon and dank. Flavor is tropical fruit, with slight grapefruit and dank aspects. Finishes moderately dry and crisp, with slight toast. Moderate-high spritziness adds rounded mouthfeel.

Can to glass. Aroma is lime and citrus. Turbid yellow-grey with chunky off-white head that sustains throughout and is varying sized bubbles. Flavor is citrus, with muddled dirt road in the middle of the palate. Ripe citrus fruit in the back half. Very juicy.
