Bottle. Copper color with tan head. Aroma is smoked ham, herbal hops, malt sweetness. Taste is more smoked ham, again malt sweetness. Medium carbonation. Goes down way too fast. Greatly balanced Smoked! Tap at the brewery. Goes more into a smoked fish character, very dry, mineralic finish. Also very drinkable.

Rerate fresh from Tap at Hop Dog on opening day. Light hazy golden, nice fruity nose, chewy, lovely Franco yeast, light berry, super moreish, glad I got it fresh again. Bottle. Grassy, light herbal copper nose. Golden, low head. Medium light body, straw malt, grassy. A bit aged, would love to try this fresh.

(bottle) Clear, light-amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly bready and moderately smoky malty aroma with notes of caramel and ham. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest, almost crisp carbonation. Dry malt character with hints of caramel and distinctive notes of smoked malt, ham, backed by herbal spicy hops; dry, moderately hop bitter and delicately salty finish with herbal spice and a lasting but also rounded smoke-malty tail. More-ish Smoked in the Franconian way. 07.VII.16

On tap at B&F in Rome-Italy. Clear dark blonde pour, off-white tick head. Nose: a bit almond pastry, bread filled in warm milk, sweet croissant. Mouth: sweet start followed by a super frizzy-mineral soul. More mineral-pepper. Acceptable traces (or at least feeling) of dyacetil.
