Bottle from Landbierparadies. Dark hazy golden colour, creamy white foam. Nose of banana, lots of banana, caramel, bread, toast. Taste is rather sweet, estery, some hints of toast and biscuit. Great!

Bottle picked up from Hier-Gibt's-Bier webshop, Eckersdorf Franconia. Had this at home Friday 19th March 2021, we did a fantastic mountain walk today 11km at Hörnle near Bad Kohlgrub, lots and lots of snow, we had a great Pastitsio for tea. This pours light/mid gold, slight haze, white head atop. Grassy hoppy nose, some fruit also. Has a pleasant easy going, rustic feel to this, it's simple, nice, hugely glugable, grassy, a little bready, fruity, light maltiness, good beer, I really drank this fast.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, fading, off-white head. Yeasty spicy, yeasty fruity and sweet-ish, wheaty malty aroma, notes of clove, a touch of cinnamon, banana, baked banana, a touch of honey, baked apple, dried fruit. Taste is surprisingly dry, slightly grassy hoppy, yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, sweet-ish, wheaty malty, slightly diluted hints of banana, baked banana, honey, some clove, a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon, dried fruit. Creamy texture with watery flanks, soft palate, somehow soft to flat, still minimally prickly carbonation. Nice composition, sadly somehow a tad insipid - OK.

Alkoholisch hefiger Abgang. Nett! 12/12/8/10/8/10

Bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Browninsh gold and clear wih a quickly dissipating off-white head. Light grainy aroma, some yeasty bread and a bit of dried grass. Sweet taste, light and moreish, with a dry and slightly peppery finish. Lingering toffee notes on the aftertaste. Light body, medium to heavy carbonation. A very nice Christmas beer.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Clear, coppery amber colour. Firm, thin, lasting, just off white head. Nose has sweet, bready, biscuity malts. Yeasty brown bread. Some notes of fig like dried fruit. Taste has a light caramel sweetness, and a touch of leafy bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Dries out somewhat. Foamy carbonation. More of the dried fruit thing on the finish. Nice one.
