Draught at Eckerts. Clear orangy color with an off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a slight sweetish touch, maybe a bit bready. Don't get much more, but it's quite ok. 6-3-6-3-13.

Golden color, slightly hazy. malty, just a bit glue-like aroma. Apple and hopbitterness in the flavor with just a bit of glue. A bit strange beer. Firm bitter at first, fading away after a few seconds and then coming back again. Easy drinker, worth a test in their beautiful beer garden.

Bottle. Light amber color. Malty aroma with traces of tea and peach. Malty, hoppy flavor with hints of pear and peach. The slightest hint of smoke. Nice beer from my wife’s favorite brewery (because of the beautiful beer garden, the relaxed atmosphere and the currywurst mit pommes). Earlier Rating: 5/30/2004 Total Score: 3.50,5 litre Steinkrug. Brewery tap. Malty hoppy aroma. Barnyard smell present, but not inoffensive. Malty flavor with a firm hopbitterness. Hints of licorice and chalk. Medium to full bodied. A Franconian small brewery dunkel at its very best.Earlier Rating: 6/21/2004 Total Score: 3.2Amber color, frothy head. Malty flavor, some fruit (apple, grapes) and some late bitterness. Just a hint of caramel. Nice, well balanced beer.

Brewery tap. Chalk, yeast and banana aroma. Herbal flavor with loads of banana and a bit of glue. Yeasty. Full bodied. Could be more refreshing.
