Bottled (BB 09/2009). Courtesy of oh6gdx, tnx. Clear golden amber color, small white head. Grassy-woody and metallic aroma with some wet cardboard. Flavor is quite similar: grass, herbs, wood and metal with buttery touch. Late grassy-herbal bitterness. Very South German, but not one of my favourites.

Draught@Pelikan, Bamberg
Copper brown color, cloudy white head. Light bready, grassy hoppy nose. Rye bread, toasted brown sugar and subdued hops. Light alcohol and caramel in the aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 08/2009). Yellow color, small white head. Aroma is mainly sweet malty with light citrusy note. Flavor is slightly citrus tart with citrusy hops, also a bit metallic. Slightly watery body. Lingering lemon bitterness in the aftertaste. Much more boring than the old ratings indicated.

Bottle. Good banana aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Stable rocky off-white head. The flavour has a good banana note, not so much citrus, but a little bitterness to balance.

Bottle (enjoyed the last night at the hotel before leaving). Orangeish golden colour with mediumsized fluffy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts, some hayish notes as well as alcoholic sweetness. Flavour is quite much the same with alcohol giving quite a burn. Also some herbal and slightly spicy notes.
