Draught @ Bruuveri, Helsinki

Pours amber with a small head. Aroma has hints of hops and pine. Taste is bitter and quite sweet. Sticky and creamy finish. A bit unbalanced DIPA, alcohol comes through a bit too much.

250ml from tap at Panimoravintola Bruuveri. Shining surface and a crystal clear, dark-brown body. Mild cat pee-like hops to the nose. The taste profile is a blend of caramel malts and leafy hops. Plain bitter endnotes. Quite well balanced bitter (Pub crawl with Matti, Helsinki 06.02.2011).

Deep amber color, small mostly vanishing head. Fruity hoppy, pine woody aroma. Medium-bodied, quite crisp carbonation. Sweetish, fruity hoppy front. Pine needles, resin. Typically for Bruuveri, sticky bitter finish. Pleasant.

250ml draught at the brewpub in Helsinki. Cloudy, amber-orange body colour with tiny patches on the surface. Fine aroma of fruity hops with a whiff of grapefruit. Sappy hoppy fruits in flavour with sweet malts beneath. Mild, but remaining bitter tail. Nice (Helsinki, 06.02.2011).

(Draught at the brewpub) The beer poured amber and a little bit hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had resin, pine and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and somewhat warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, resin, malts, mildly herbalness, sweetness, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Well balanced beer with a little bit too much alcohol pushing through.

(Draught at Gallows Bird Kekri ’10) The beer was deep dark brown and clear. The head was almost white and quite small. Aroma contained roasted malts and coffee. The roasted malts were the dominating part and the combination was pleasant. The taste was quite roasty and finished bitter. The othe flavours were coffee, chocolate, hops and mildly sweetness. The beer finished roasty and bitter. Really good brew from Bruuveri and extra bonus for not including the way too often found house flavours.

Draught@Bruuveri 5.10. Poured amber color with a white head. Very nice fruity hoppy aroma. Flavor is hops and malt mostly. Quite fruity, ending slightly bitter. Have to agree with earlier raters, the house flavor recognizable, but not as strong as in their other brews though. Probably should have waited longer for the beer to get bit warmer, as it was served very cold. Drinkable, liked to try it again sometimes.

(Draught at the brewpub) As it normally goes at Bruuveri, this beer was served way too cold. After like 15 minutes some aromas did appear and the harsh house characters were present. Below them I could sense some malts and caramell. For such a new brew palate was quite dry. Flavours followed house characters, too, although at this time bitterness wasn’t the dominating thing which is a positive sign. The beer was nothing special, just easily drinkable.

Deep amber color, good creamy off-white head. Hayish hoppy aroma, some caramel and typical Bruuveri "dry yeast" house aroma. Good body for 4.1% beer although finish is a bit watery. Caramel, some hops, harsh Bruuveri house flavor (unclean yeast?). Anyway decent session beer.
