Bottled (as Vinter Eko 2015), from Systembolaget! Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Bready nose with hay and figs. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dark bread, grains, raisins and figs. Mid bitter finish. Rich and harmonious.

Bottle from 2013 thanks to _angst_! Shared among friends. Pours clear black, medium beige head, dissipates with nice residual and lacing. Aroma is rich, cocoa, fudge, bourbon, lots of oak, light molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, bourbon and fudge, with vanilla molasses backing. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Quite nice. Some lingering bitterness.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Almost black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, licorice, wood and a little alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 071215

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home. [ As Qvänum Stenson QPA ].[ Trade by omhper ]. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, light heavy hoppy, citrus, flowers, grass, fruity - tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, flowers, grass, fruity, tropical fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151118]

[ As Qvänum Ekfatslagrad Porter (Aquavit) ].Clear dark red brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, licorice - licorice wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, slaty licorice, oak, roasted, sweet licorice, dark. Very balanced .. nice ;D Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150724]
