Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF tasting 2015. It pours cloudy darkest brown with a tiny light beige head. The nose is rich, unctuous, bourbon, vanilla, fruit cake, stewed fruits and sweet roasted malt. The taste is rich, oily, vanilla, bourbon, wood, roasted malt, leather, warming alcohol, fudge and varnish with a dry, warming finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Good depth and well-rounded stuff. Nice one.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small off white head. Aroma is wineous, mild medicinal and toasted dark malty. Bitter and toasted malty. Dry and toasted malty. Lingering wooden and toasted malty finish.

33cl bottle @PBF X, thanks Per! Dark brown color, thin off white head. Cough medicine, salty licorice Arona. Brings back memories from my childhood when I had a bad cough. Flavor has roastedness, cough medicine, licorice. Bit thin but very tasty.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Very dark brown. small beige head. Coffee and earth up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Earth, chocolate, tobacco with a tingle of wood and alcohol. Mildly warming finish. Subtle, rich and harmonious.

33cl bottle @PBF X. Dark brown color with a thin off white head. Dark malty, fresh licorice, roasted malt, chocolate. Aroma is amazing. Flavor has licorice, chocolate, malt, balancing sweetness. Long finish. Awesome.
