Test vom 13.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,8,8,11,8 - 8,60

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, light-golden coloured effervescent hue with a big eggshell-coloured foamy head. Rather shy aroma: slightly sweet and moderately wheaty nose with shy hoppy notes. Light-sweet flavour with a tad of bitterness, slim body, lively carbonation. Wheaty and light-fruity taste with a tart bitter hoppy note that does not fit well here, imo. Dry and slightly wheaty and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Mediocre crystal wheat beer (21.04.08).

on tap at Rössle Weingarten. Clear dark red-brown colour, medium-sized head. Malty and slightly fruity nose. Flavours of roasetd malt and malt, slightly hoppy. Hints of dark chocolate and caramel. Well-balanced Dunkles, neither too sweet nor too hoppy - very nice.

bought at the brewery. The brewmaster told me that Zeppelin Bier is brewed instead of theri Zwickel now. Zeppelin-Bier is only availablein 1 litre and 3 litre bottles, directly at the brewery or at a few other places minly in Friedrichshafen (where the legendary Zeppelins are built). Cloudy Amber-brown colour, creamy beige head. Wonderful aroma of hops, quite perfumy and flowery. Full-bodied, yeasty with a fantastic hoppy flavour, perfumy, flowery, slightly fruity. Solid malty base. Well matured and pleasantly fine carbonation. This beer is full of intensive flavours and still extremely quaffable. Fantastic! Briliant! I can’t write more now, have to finish my beer...

bottle. Golden yellow colour, slightly hazy, large and persistent head. Fruity and slightly yeasty, hints of banana and lemon, finished with a good amount of aromatic bitter hops. Rather thin, but good for a low alcohol beer.
