Aroma is slightly sweet with malty notes, roastiness and licorice. Flavour has roasted malts, some chocolate, coffee, ripe fruits and Belgian yeast. Not the most typical dubbel and actually close to a stout. Smoke is hardly observable.

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Finland. A pretty average smoked beer, hints of belgian style freshness and roastness in the taste.

(Draught at Tuulensuu, Tampere) Poured almost black with medium sized and light brown head. Aroma contained smoke, burntness, tar and roastedness. Palate was quite full bodied with medium carbontaion. Flavours were burntness, tar, smoke, ash, roastedness, hint of hops and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy and bitter.

Draught@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is cooked vegetables, some mild rubber, grass and mild wheat & fruityness as well. Flavour is grains, some grass and also maltyness and spices. As it gets warmer it loses the vegetably and rubbery notes and becomes a quite nice and drinkable brew.

Draught. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is anis and fruits along with some yeasty notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some honey and a lot of grassy hops. Quite much yeastyness in flavour too.

(Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-03-19) Hazy and golden. Nose contains fruity and hoppy notes. Dryish palate. Weak bodied. Fruity and yeasty taste. Pleasant bitterness. A bit musty.
