Half liter bottle from Wine Cellar Depere, 5/27/22. Initially poured a nice looking clear peach color, but then the loads of large chunks came out. Come on breweries, THIS IS NOT OK! Make a beer look like a beer. Fuck. Medium frothy tan head that initiall had good retention before it was killed by all the adjuncts. Aroma of peach, mild hops, and not much else. Taste is peach, lactose, piney hops. Muddled, kinda one note. Juicy, low bitterness. Overall poor beer (and I know these guys know how to do it well). I don't need my beer to look like a snow globe.

Half liter bottle from Niemuth's, 5/21/22. Hazy orange large tan head, good retention. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, melon. Taste is grapefruit, tangerine, pine, resin. Moderate bitterness. Nice.

Half liter bottle from Niemuth's, 5/12/22. Hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of wheat, citrus, floral notes. Taste is wheat, yeast, lemon, lime, citrus, bread. Crisp, bright, lingering bitterness. Nice.

Half liter stubby bottle from Wine Cellar Depere, 5/5/22. I said holy dank upon opening. Yeah, I did have a couple, two, tree beers tonight. Ope! Oh yah. #Wisconsin. Aroma of melon, dank. Taste is dank, melon, grapefruit, resin. Juicy, low bitterness.

The aromas are caramel malt and some hops. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, on the sweet side up front with some bitter and a little medicinal in the finish. Some hop characteristics come out like citrus, stone fruit and a little resin but not prominent. Boozy finish. Not bad but nothing special.

Bottle from Woodman’s Appleton, 4/12/22. Smells like a skunky lager when poured. Clear gold, large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of skunk, dank, pale malt. May be a kolsch, but they’re definitely aiming for the BMC crowd. Taste is pale malt, grass, skunk, lime. Mild bitterness, crisp. Solid.

Half liter bottle from Woodman’s Appleton, 4/9/22. Clear red, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, plum, piney hop. Taste is toffee, caramel, dark fruits. Some bittering hops. Sunflower seeds are a gimmick and adds nothing I can tell. Bit too sweet but still pretty nice beer.

Half liter bottle from Niemuth’s, 4/1/22. No joking. Murky red, pinkish tone, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of funk, cranberry, pepper, raspberry. Taste is cranberry, raspberry, lemon. Bit of funk. A bit thick. Fresh. Lingering tartness. Solid beer.
