330ml bottle. Murky, darkest brown colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, fruity and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of plum, milk chocolate, chocolate pudding. Taste is sweet, chocolately, dark and slightly caramel malty as well as fruity-alcoholic, notes of milk chocolate, chocolate pudding, hints of plum, a touch of plum wine; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Creamy texture, smooth, soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy, still mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice composition, harmonious and homogeneous, sadly a tad too sweet and almost a bit monotonous - decent.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before January 2025. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy, moderately yeasty aroma of grains, some straw and light plastic. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty taste of grains, straw, honey, some cardboard and light apricot, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A rather bland, but also relatively solid blond, tastes quite stale though.

Bottle at home, darker almost black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, coffee, whisky, light hint of peat or smoke. Taste is the same, bitter, roast, coffee, whisky, some peat, some hint of tartness in the end. Not bad.
