Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, orangey brown with a tiny, off-white head. Surprisingly subtle aroma, there's not much there. A little nuts and perhaps a surprising hint of phenols. Medium body, sweet and chewy, nuts and dark cookies, biscuit and toffee with only a slight roastiness. Hardly any bitterness. Very straight and easygoing example of a much overlooked style. A pity the nose doesn't lure you in better. 300420

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a white head. Clean, malty nose - lacking a little more distinct hop presence. Medium body, sweet, clean malts, crispy - a little biscuity - with a decent, late hop bite. Well made traditional Central European Pilsner-style, perhaps lacking a little on the aroma side.

50 cl bottle purchased at the brewery. Near black with a creamy lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with coffee, chocolate, fruits, dark roast. Some honey and brown cookies. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Sweet, only slightly drying finish with a good amount of coffee. Fine, rather mellow Stout.
