Draught @ The Rover. Pours very hazy deep golden with a bubbly offwhite head that leaves some sticky tyrace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and tiny fruity with caramel, butterscotch, grapefruit, moist grass, pine needles, myrrh and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, slightly malty, tiny fruity and tiny herbal. Mouthfeel is round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with bread, caramel, grapefruit, moist grass, pine needles, orange zest and lemon zest. Just ok...

Night cap on tap at Fermentoren. Patchy beige head, decent lacing, devil-black body. Smell of chocolate and dark fruits. Flavoured with dark malts, bread, juicy rye, scotch, and dried fruits towards the ending. Well bodied and well balanced. Enjoying, however the Sherry version was even better (Copenhagen 03.05.2015).
