Description
Moonwake: “the moon’s reflection on a body of water” speaks to the brewery’s Leith Shore location, the importance of water as an ingredient, and our beer’s reflection of our collective experience.
Our beer is precision brewed with mindful intention on modern technology using quality ingredients.
Our founders started their beer careers on opposite sides of the world, Vinny in New Zealand and Fin in the UK. They bring over a decade of collective experience in brewing to Moonwake, for both of them brewing is their creative outlet.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Cork & Cask. Pours clear copper-gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet, a bit of plastic, rubber, grass, diesel, mildly astringent, some pine and sun-kissed malts. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Harsh bitterness in the finish, more plastic and rubber dominating, background pine, orange rind. Something's not right.
