Bottle via Salon piva. Med-high bitterness, malt rather in the background if I am not counting the med-light smoke. The smokiness seems to come across more in this one than the rest of the beers, as does light barrel character. It all mixes together decently, the whisky elements sitting a bit lower than the citrusy resiny hops character. Good one.

Bottle at a Beermalade tasting. High carbonation, moderate body. Med-light sourness, which is also a product of the yeast, no infection. Rather phenolic character than estery, with cloves coming much higher than banana, even though both are present. Only light caramelly maltiness. Overall easy drinking, good one. I like it.

Bottle at a Beermalade tasting. Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Malt centered, hops in the background. As far as malt goes, it is roast-heavy. Lots of coffee, roasted malts. Light woody and smoky character present too, more so than in the pale lager of theirs. Very light astringent note. Easy drinking, good one.

Bottle at a Beermalade tasting. Very well balanced. Rather malty and sweetish than hoppy. Med-high body, med-high carbonation. Very nice honeyish malt character. Hops is very soft, noble grassy herbal character, but definitely in the background. Easy drinking despit being rather full. A soft touch of wood in the late finish, along the smoke character.
