750ml bottle found in Andorra La Vella. Pours stormy foamy with a clear brown body but the foam disappears pretty quick. Big aroma of malt and brown sugar. Flavour is an inoffensive mix of brown sugar with a slightly dry finish. I did not find this one particularily exciting.

Bottle found in Andorra La Vella. Bottle cap missed the garbage can but I'm okay with that. This pours with bad foam and a medium gold body, no way round that. Smells of yeast and grain in varying quantities, no finesse anyways. The flavour is all yeast, sharp stuff, maybe some grain things going on in the back but not too prominent. Medium finish, kind of watery. Missing a few key elements to make this exciting.

Pours soda poppy with fast disappearing head and a medium gold body, rather aggressive carbonation. Soft aroma of fresh wet dough. Flavour is more dough and witbier notes, soft grainy banana hints and a bit of a dry finish. Nothing too exciting here, adequately executed, another Andorra tick at least.

Apparently little Andorra, too, has its own craft brewery these days - the craft beer movement penetrates every single civilized country indeed, regardless of size. Many thanks to Animatchime for this country tick, shared at Gents Bierfestival. Thin, egg-white, bit moussy, opening head (probably having lost most of its stability after having been open for quite a while), misty peach blonde robe. Utterly weird and un-witbier-like aroma of kimchi, gherkins, old lemon peel, sourdough, soap, apple. Sourish onset, even a little bit lemony to a certain degree, plum- and apple-like aspects, disturbed by an off-flavour not unlike piccalilly, soft soapy and doughy malt base, wheaty, bread pulp, dryish finish due to this soft (infected?) sourish aspect, coriander note, lingering fruity esters and hardly any hop bitterness - which to me is not a problem in what is apparently intended as a Belgian style witbier. Very strange, could be infected, but the sourness - intentional or not and probably not - brings this closer to a failed Berliner Weisse than to a successful Belgian witbier... I cannot say I enjoyed this, but the condition of the bottle likely wasn't very good anymore and I would not mind tasting other brews from this Andorrean craft brewery.
