Draft at rhe Standing Bar, Hanoi. Poured a clear medium reddish brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty, light caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, light caramel, light red berry fruit palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Draft at the Standing Bar, Hanoi. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is resin, light alcohol, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a a rich, smooth, fresh, toffee, juicy citrus, hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Draft at The Bottle Shop, Hanoi. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt. The flavour is moderate bitter, super light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, light toffee malt, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Given that this is the first beer from this brewery and super cheap too at just 40,000 VND (1.40 GBP) I wasn’t expecting much, but hey it’s a solid blonde, more like a European Pilsner tho if I’m honest. Enough bitterness to make it sessionable.
