On tap at Mikkeller Bar - Vik, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out bourbon barrels, dark sugars, and dark dried fruits — that's rich and complex. Flavour is very intense, with loads of butterscotch, toffee, viscous syrupy notes, and some bourbon. That's a lot of butterscotch and burnt, dark sugars. It's a bit too viscous and butterscotch-heavy. Good but brutal and lacking elegance.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar - Vik, pours jet black with no head. Aroma is extremely rich, with intense coffee, maple, and dark sugars. Flavour is extremely rich, borderline brutal, with intense coffee, dark sugars and maple. It's quite sweet, almost cloying, but lovely in tiny amounts.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar - Vik, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is chalky and dank, with pithy stone fruits, chalk, and dankness. Flavour is dank and chalky, with pithy stone fruits, chalk, dankness, and earthy grittiness. Fuck you, Mikkeller, for saying this is an “IPA - American” — it's a chalky hazy. Not great.

Black, small light brown head. Crazy dark for a barley wine. Cola nutty brown sugary aroma. Clean malts. Flavor is nutty, dark caramel, chocolate, toffee, Bar has it as barley wine, i would say its way out of style, tastes good though, mega thichk palate pastry barley wine perhaps.

Dark, light brown head. Aroma has lots of dark caramel toffee, dark chocolate . Flavor is maple syrup chocolate, lacto, dark varamel. Viscosity is extremely insane, the thickest beer of the 14000+ I have tasted. I have had youghurt that is thinner than this. Its like they took a brown frosted cake, added 33% cream and blended the shit out of it

Clear yellow , small white head. Very very mild aroma. I get crispy malts practically nothing else. Flavor is fantastic, although the hops are perhaps a bit too much like hops used in english bitter. Everything but the hops is outsranding .

Can from Harvest. Pours a clear orange gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Grapefruit, lemon candy and pithy citrus aromas on the nose. More of the same on the palate with pith and pine present and a candied citrus note. A bit boozy on the finish, but still enjoyable.
