Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, mild wooden and some spicy tones with mild citrus. Flavour is citrus, fruity, floral, mild almonds and some sweet bananas with a bit yeast. Hides the alcohol very well.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, belgian yeast, sweet yeast, fruity yeast, phenol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, caramel, sweet malt, belgian yeast, phenol, fruity yeast, fruity, hops bitter, fruity hops - fruity yeast, yeasty. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230409]

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a small, beige head. No, it's actually not black. Intensely sweet nose of what seems like lactose and vanilla. Rich body, molasses and vanilla but actually not sweet, probably due to a crude and brutal bittering. Totally out of whack. 240323

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy and almost opaque nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Odd gingery nose with some ethanol. Medium body, slightly nutty, dry caramel - everything is dry and again there's this odd spiciness. Very bitter finish. Nothing at all what you'd expect from a Barley Wine. 240323
