Bottle at the DC post-Thanksgiving 2021 gathering. Poured a very dark black color with a small tan head. Aroma was big barrel notes, roasted malts, some chocolate. Flavor was big bourbon, woody notes. Some coffee, cordial.

50cl waxed bottle from the brewery, pours a watery black with some white head. Boozy nose, more cherry and chocolate than anything. Flavor has caramel, malt, some milk chocolate - but cheap chocolate, cherry and some raisin. Finishes boozy. OK.

Growler at the December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was pleasant citrus. Creamy notes. Pleasant, light herbal notes. Lemon? Hoppy.
