Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21B-Rye). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 170018RYE (BBF AGO18). AROMA: predominant medium hop aroma with notes of pine, green mango and slight canteloup melon. low and slightly sweet neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: dark orange color and hazy. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low hop flavor with notes of pine and resin, followed by a medium-low neutral malt background with rye notes of the same intensity. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a regular rye IPA that would benefit from a more complex hop aroma and flavor.

AROMA: medium ginger aroma, followed by a very faint tropical fruit aroma. almost neutral faint malt background. APPEARANCE: dark gold color and clear. medium-low white head with good retention. TASTE: medium predominant ginger flavor with a very faint neutral malt background. faint pine hop note. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a pale ale with a balance towards ginger. it would benefit from more hop presence and supportive malt.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE Dez 17, thanks Susanna, 20170413) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was large and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness, sulphur and canned peach. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, fruitiness, vegetables, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart, yeasty and bitter. An unclean brew with nice aroma.

Tasted from the tap on the 11/11/2016. Not in good condition at all. Lots of sediments that turn the colour into cloudy brown. Aroma of roasted malts and hops. Taste is hops and coffee. Next one please!

Bottled, thanks andrepintado! Cloudy golden, small head. Lemony nose. Dryish with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lemony peach, some sour winegums. Some pepper and husk. Mid bitter finish. Clearly infected.
