1 litre plastic bottle from Novomestský Pivovar, Bratislava.
Amber, moderately hazy body, with a small, creamy, white head.
Aroma of grass, herbs, grapefruit, orange, some sweet malts.
Tastes of grapefruit, orange, grass, herbs, some grains, some biscuit.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, quite dry, zesty, herbal, grassy, a bit malty.

OK, but nothing special. Too much grass and herbal notes for my liking, which I don’t like much in ales. Drinks easy though. Overall I’ve had much better Pale Ales from Slovak.

Tap at Novomestsky pivovar. Slightly hazy deep golden colour. Quite spicy in both aroma and taste. Belgian yeast showing nicely, peppery and clove, hops being a rather complementary feature. Does not let the hops shine very much but as a beer overall it is quite good. Belgian and easily drinkable.
