Sample at the McFleshman’s Lager Fest, 10/9/21. Hazy yellow, thin white head. Aroma of lemon, doughy malt. Taste is white bread, snappy hops. A bit muddled, but refreshing.

As soon as I open the can I could smell nutmeg. A bit later I got sour pineapple and maybe papaya. Later still I get dirty clothes. Flavors are sour pineapple and papaya with significant lemon or lime, dry with robust carbonation. Decent body with hints of nutmeg in the Finish. Too sour for me though.

It's not bad but it's another dumb to down Saison good nice flavors but without the funky Edge. I will say I'm also not a fan of lavender in beer especially the version that is more Floral.

Enjoyed from can at X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy, WI on the last day of my job! Appearance is a cloudy orange with moderate head, lots of citrus in nose, moderate bitterness, more juicy than other in the style. Really enjoying this one!

Exploded can - didn't realize it at all until I went to move another can but the top was popped open, but seemingly nothing missing from this one! Not much carbonation here, but a thin layer of pure white glowing billowy head on topp of the hazy and cloudy golden glow. Aroma of bright and pungent, spicey belgian yeast characteristics with some black pepper, curacao and light coriander seed, all with a deep and earthy bite towards the end, with a small dash of hops noticeable. Medium-bodied; Strong spicey and robust malt shows at first with a light touch of bitterness from the malts, but also a lot of hops and dry, grassy and slightly herbal flavours that come especially from the yeast here and some mellow sweetness, too. Aftertaste shows some more pungent yeast and grassiness with a kick from the malts along with a very smooth and subtle sweetness, but the hops are noticeable and fairly bitter, but the Belgian yeast strain is the strongest flavour here. Overall, a nice and robust beer that has a lot of quality, but just exploded a bit too early for me, but was still good to sample from the nice state of Wisconsin. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Hy-Vee in Madison, Wisconsin on 08-August-2021 for US$3,99 and sampled on the train from Washington to New York to head right back to Alaska, on 04-October-2021.Β

This is now called bathtub bier b/c another brewer sued them for the name shower bier. Pour is a bright gold with a smallish white head. Aroma is decent cracker malt with some nobel hop. Flavor is more bready wet dough with a good bit of bitterness. Pretty spot on for the style.

Quite thin. Despite the rye, this tastes slightly more diluted than I expected. Of course, still a good sipper on a hot day.

Pint can from Corks & Caps 6/17/21. You bet I'm listening to 1991 Tom Petty right now. Hazy, almost murky brown. Large frothy khaki head, decent retention. Aroma of lactose, berry, vanilla, and faint but bright lemon. Taste is strawberry, sweet and fresh, followed by tart lemon, lactose. Bright, sour. Nice beer.

Keg at the brewery, 5.30.21. Weak aroma of wheat and melon. Taste is also kinda weak. Weird. Wheat, nuts, dank, melon, tangerine. Not thin but seems watery. Mild lingering bitterness. Not a bad beer, but it is peculiar.
