On tap at Hop & Barrel, pours s clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, lots of tropical stone fruits, and caramel. Very resinous and bursting with tropical fruit, finishing on notes of passionfruit and pineapple. Nicely constructed and pretty well-balanced. Great stuff.

On tap at Hop & Barrel, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with an amber tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out fresh earthy coffee upfront, with a touch of lactose, and faint cocoa. Flavour follows suit, with lactose, coffee and cocoa in good combination. The coffee wins out, with the lactose closely following. Pleasant stuff, but not a whole lot of depth.

Flavour is along the same lines, with bitter piney hops and a dry, crisp biscuity malt base. Quite bitter, without accompanying flavour profile depth. Okay.

On tap at Hop & Barrel, pours a clear amber / chestnut brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted chestnuts and some stale bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, toasted chestnuts, and light caramel. Malt but not too sweet. Not very interesting.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a nice chocolate note with roasted malts and dark grains supporting. Flavor has chocolate and earthy grains with growing roasted malts underlying.
