Fantastic “saison-adjacent” honey ale from these cool Madison chicas. Warning: Don’t drink this outside unless you’re willing to share with the bees.

16oz bottle from the brewery during Covid19. Tan orange body, looks filtered. Big and malty, honey ups the sweetness. Pretty much a Tripel with honey, but they really nail it with this one. Has some big flowery esters that I would generally associate with Belgian classics. Doesn't quite have the right mouthfeel of a true Belgian, but the taste is right on. Really good.

16oz bottle from the brewery. Not much of an aroma, perhaps some orange marmalade and brewhouse tones. Malty and sweet. Doesn't quite nail it, but a unique enough brew. No real hop tone at all, sort of like and amped up, wheated Wee Heavy. Hints of amber malt perhaps. Rustic and a little bit earthy. Pleasant mouthfeel. Enjoyable in that separates itself from Barleywine. Not so impressive in that it can't even compare to other Wheat Wine examples, like Good City batch 1000. OK.

The Aromas are sweet, fruity, toffee malt. Pours with a thick, foamy, cream-colored but short-lived head. Flavors are like nose, some toast in there. Carbonation is a bit soft with a round body. Slightly medicinal in the Finish. Nothing remarkable here.

The Aromas are traditional Bavarian weizenbock, Smokey roast with clove and banana. Flavors are very much like nose, slightly Tangy sweetness with a slightly chalky texture. Good carbonation and finish.

The Aromas are caramel malt, funk, and a little hops. Flavors are a little sweet up front with a bit of hop flavor and some bitterness coming on into the Finish. A little boozy at the end there too with decent carbonation and body. Nothing special about it though.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is sweet bubble gum and bananas. Flavor is more banana yeast ester and some sage like herbalness. Finish is dry and wheaty. Pretty good rep of the style and highly drinkable.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a slight fruit and yeast ester but also a bit of burning. Flavor is pretty nice. I was expecting the worst after the aroma. Nice creamy yeast esters with some banana and a wheat malt with a slight alcohol finish. Pretty spot on for the style and the burning I got at first kind of went away after a while. Solid.
