This is like West coast double IPA 2.0. it's a little more balanced and easier drinking than the old school West coast double IPAs. The aromas are fresh resin hops with a little citrus and funk plus some pale malt. Flavors are like nose, sweet up front with growing bitterness. Fairly substantial but not overdone bitterness at the end great body and finish. Very nice beer.

Tap. Pours clear golden orange, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is weirdly spiced, cinnamon, nutmeg, chili, honey, wildflowers. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, light plus chili spice, lots of adjunct spices. Medium body, low carbonation. Lingering burn. Floral

Tap. Pours opaque black, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is huge vanilla, roast, bakers chocolate, charred wood. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, vanilla, a bit acrid, ash. Medium plus body, soft mouthfeel.

On draught at Murphys Pour House in Murphys. Clear gold with moderate white head. Solid all around. Thin mouthfeel.
