Small, if stable white head over fully (cold)hazy ochre-golden beer. Rather sweet nose, with typical German hops, bit spicy/leafy. Dry, grainly flavour with again the dry-spicy hopflavour. Finish is a bit empty, and sweeter, honeyish. Feels quite sparkling, light body, just a bit slick. Dry-ish, not bad, but all in all a tad empty. Txs to Stef!

Wie bei einem Weißbier sollte man den Bodensatz ausschütteln. Eine wunderbare Trübung ist das Ergebnis. Das Bier ist herb-fruchtig mit dezente Getreidenoten. Der Hopfen kommt nicht zu kurz, gibt klar hervorstechende Bitternoten, spart aber weitgehend mit floralen Nuancen (muss ja auch nicht sein). Bier hat einen schönen vollen Körper, bleibt dabei aber doch noch leicht und süffig. Vielleicht (aufgrund der Frucht- und Hopfenbetonung) nicht das klassischte aller Zwickl-/Kellerbiere, aber trotzdem wirklich lecker und gut.

Bottle picked up from Globus Getrankemarkt Plattling, had this Sunday 22nd October 2023 during Zoom chat with Scott and Mand', we had a Raymond Blanc Roasted Chicken meal today. Pours warm gold with a light hazy, mid sized creamy white head. There is a citrus twang, mostly in the form of lemon, light bitterness, easy drinking, and a good bittersweet balance. Decent.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a decent wet dough malt with a little herbal hop. Flavor is clean and watery with more of those herbal hops. A little thin but right in the style and highly drinkable.

Ein gefälliges 🙂 Zwicklbier, das nicht zu trüb ist, abet einen schönen milden Geschmack nach gemütlichen Hellem hat. Keine besonderen Aromen, aber ein ehrliches, feines Bier, von dem man leicht mehrere 🍻 trinken kann.

Bottle picked up from Globus Getrankemarkt Plattling and consumed at home Tuesday 3rd October 2023 after a walk to Gasthof zum Sonnenwald at Schöfweg, cooking Chicken and Chorizo Lasagna tonight, listening to Slowdive - Everything is Alive. Pours copper in colour with a fast disappearing white head, fruity and resinous IPA with an impressive bitterness. I don't get the mango or pineapple, I pick up more grapefruit. But it's a decent IPA regardless.

Appearance: Clear pale gold with a good white head. Aroma: Cracker malt, herbal and spicy hop. Slightly skunky. Taste: Near to dry, simple still fair. medium bitter. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: Underrated.
