Bottle: Copper coloured, lots of floaties visible, off-white head, slowly collapsing; dried fruits and sweet caramel in the nose, the expected "Pride of Ringwood" remains only in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; lingering caramelly and tart-hoppy finish. Aromatic, yes, but absolutely not well rounded.......

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. It’s a clear, copper colored drink with a small, beige head. Herbal, cola-ish aroma, some ginger too. The flavor is sweet and cola-ish, with some herbal notes. Lacks on most things beery. Sticky, medium body, and cola finish. I really don’t understand the German fascination for beers like this. 101009

Bottle 330ml. clear glass.Clear medium yellow color with a average to small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, grass, light vegetabel and cardboard. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, vegetable and cardboard. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100910]
