(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet and mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, liquorice and traces of herbal and subtle fruity hops. Light to moderately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty and slightly leafy malty taste with light burnt notes, dark bread, liquorice and herbal accents; dry and moderately roasty bitter finish and a tinge of herbal hops. Decent but not too exciting. 31.XII.09

(bottle, with the twisted Welde-neck) Cloudy, dark amber colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Sweet and berry-fruity caramel-malty, moderately wheaty aroma, initially with sharp notes of turpentine, plastic, that fade quickly. Sweet and shy sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly toasty and wheaty cara-malty taste with notes of berries, bubblegum and vanilla; sweetish and faintly sour, cara-malty and wheaty finish. 22.XII.09

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, minimal off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and wheaty malty aroma with light notes of dust, banana and bubblegum. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty, slightly wheaty taste with notes of bubblegum; moderately sweet and slightly sourish tart finish. Just drinkable but definitely not the beer (nor the style) the world was waiting for. 12.XII.09
