Test vom 21.7.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,10,10,9,12,10 - 9,95

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Nose of roasted malt and rye bread. Medium body with loads of roasted malt and some lightly sweet caramel. Touch of hops in the finish. Comes out more as a Dunkel than a Schwarzbier. 290106

An amber beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is mostly of straw, but also with impressions of malt and herbs. The flavor is sweet again with straw being most dominant, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a fine, but collapsing, white head. Hoppy aroma. Good malty fullness and a marked hoppy finish. A solid German pils. Comes in the usual twisted Welde bottle. 121105

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear amber colour with a rather small head. Malty, lightly caramelish aroma. Sweetish and malty flavours neatly balanced by a dry, hoppy finish. Comes in a cool, twisted bottle. 061105

Bottle (a very cool design). A sweet banana, apricot, and clove. Light yellow-tan color - cloudy with small head. Sweet banana/orange and clove flavor. Decent body but just a bit watery. Wish I could have compared this side by side with the brewery’s other Hefe - Weizen Lust but didn’t find that one.

Bottle. A very spicy aroma - cloves and pepper with typical banana. Golden yellow color with small head. Sparkling spicy clove flavor with mild banana malt finish - highly carbonated. Nice Kristall.

Bottle Grassy nose,. Pale golden with a green tint, fluffy head. Herbal hop notes on a unsatisfying thin malt body. Metallic finish, fizzy mouthfeel. Not my no.1.
