Draft at brewery. Lighter brown than I prefer from style. Nose is rootbeer and very earthy like wormwoood. Tatses of chocolate, earth, anise, sasparilla. Too thin body seems to be theme here.

Hazy-cloudy medium orange-brown body, medium dense cream head. Aroma tropical fruits (mango, papaya) and rind. Body sweet, peachy with lots of orange and orange peel and some papaya. A few sips in and it's evident this is way too sweet.

Clear caramel orange-brown body, medium to thick cream head. Aroma tangy with citrus and toasted malts. Weird body, leafy and piny with toasted caramely malts and off-putting diacetyl. Not especially sweet. There are fragments of a foundation here but the diacetyl is a fatal flaw.
