10th August 2024 Panda thanks to Wingman. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth and very slightly viscous palate, but good fine minerally carbonation comes marching in. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Lovely hop profile. Light pine into juicy citrus, a little pink grapefruit really elevating things here. Tangerine - mandarin. Touch of soft mango led tropical fruits. Trace of candy fruits. Hop spice starts early and keeps on nibbling long after the swallow. Lovely stuff. Just a juicy hop fruit cocktail with more than an adequate sting in the tail to remind you this is a beer and not a fruit cocktail.

10oz pour at brewery. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is mainly fresh pine and sweet malts. Flavour is resinous, with notes of sweet biscuity malts, and great dank white wine. Incredible dank hop expression.

10oz pour at brewery. Pours cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma has citrus rind, pale malts, and dank notes. Flavour is packed full of smooth dankness, resin, pine, orange rind, and slightly vinous on the finish. Excellent NZ hop expression here.

On tap at Brujos, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is dank as hell, with lots of pot-like hops, some resinous oils, and a bit of citrus. Flavour is wonderfully oily, with lots of resinous hops, pine, mega-dank notes, and just enough malt to back. Oily, dank, resinous and piney finish. Lovely.

On tap at Brujos, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tangy hops, a little gooseberry, pine, and grassiness. Flavour is tangy, bringing out a wonderfully NZ, gooseberry hop character, some pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Wonderful hop character. Lovely.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 04/08/24. Hazed orange with a just off white head that veers edgewards. Nose is ripe tropicana, pine resin, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, mango splash. Taste comprises orange pith, mandarin, pine resin, grapefruit, papaya, tropical fruit medley, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Solid well balanced DIPA.
