sampled can at beer festival in fort wayne. Loved it - my boy Lou suggested and since he is a genius, it was awesome.

Pours very hazy light yellow with a small off white head. The aroma is very citrus rich. The flavor is citrusy and at least moderately bitter. Some resin. Very bubbly palate. I’m picking up some off flavor in the finish though it’s kind of buried by the hops. It’s okay though loses something with that finish.

Pours clear gold with a small white head. Mild grainy malt aroma. The flavor is light and malty with grain, mild hops, and a touch of fruity character. It’s okay but it’s not really my thing.

This was a special release during craft beer week. The aroma is of spicy yeast and citrus. . The flavor is quite different than regular angel’s paw. The sweet, spicy, yeasty flavor is there, but it’s nicely accented by the prominent oak flavor that hits up front, is followed by the spicy yeast, malt, and citrus, and comes back to linger with the spice in the finish. It blends well with the base beer and to me improves it.

Pours near black with a small light tan head. Aroma is mild and mainly of roast malt. The flavor is similar. It’s pretty mild. Balanced. Light to medium body. Okay but a bit bland for my tastes.

Pint can from Citywide Liquors South Bend, 5/24/22. New brewery! Brewery #2053. USA #1652. Indiana #27. Near black, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast and earth. Taste is chocolate, roast. Eventually dark fruits emerge. Slick, moderate bitterness. Simple but quite nice. But your arm's off!!!!
