Sample at Forbidden Root Columbus. The beer is a brown-black color with a thin tan head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Sparse strings of lace. Malt, chocolate and vanilla in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of roast malt, chocolate fudge, vanilla and strawberry. The finish is sweet with a neapolitan aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Lemon, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet orange, lemon, light coriander, wheat malt, and very mild bitter straw flavor. Okay body.

Raspberry, blackberry, milk, malt, and straw aroma. Murky brownish pink with minimal head. Moderately sweet raspberry, blackberry, creamy malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Nice body and balance. Tasty.

Orange, lime, biscuit malt, grapefruit peel, and pine aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet orange, lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel and pine flavor. Good body. Nice.
