very complex aroma. wood, glue, rasins, dry malts, caramel, booze, dark dried fruitish nutty malty combination. also very barley wineish, european style.

flavor is non-sweet malts, sweet malts, honey or syrup, coffee liqueor, faint dark dried fruits, brown sugar, faint chocolate, nougat, faint brown sugar. tastes like a high end very fine coffee liqeur, probably better than all of those. almost too sweet overall but with such high complexity that you can sit and sip it forever, making a journey out of it.. so much to explore.
If you take some air in, you also get some tobacco, slightly roasted malts, very subtle smoked notes, bit of nuttiness.. only major problem i have with this is that it is extraordinarily sweet.

It is a perfect black IPA better than the bapbap, roasted malt, some coffee, powerfuk hop, notes of vanilla, lovely black color, 18.01.17 at Lausanne, Prélaz, buying it at one coop.

For the second time, As usual I appreciate this brewery, classical from the American art, hoppy, bitter but not at the extreme, malt, 17.06.2017, drinking it in the region of Porsel in the house of Johana, buying it in one coop.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Light minerally crisp palate. Thin bodied pale malts but a decent creamy sweetness. Audacia hops bring bold complex floral flavours and, the decision to add honey to this dipa gives a very distinct flavour profile. Good citrus underneath, enough to keep the sweetness in check. A little tangy citrus peel and a very mild hop spice on the finish. First gobful and my gut reaction was, too sweet but, then the overall feel of the beer made sense and I enjoyed it.
