Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with medium white head. Aroma is intense malt, hops, citrus fruits and spice. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter and faint acidic. Body is dry with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and light bitter with notes of malt, rye bread, biscuits, spruce, grapefruit, mango, mandarin, cinnamon, cardamom and hints of black currant juice. Nice Christmas notes without being too sweet.

Hazy amber with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with bread, caramel and toffee with hints of orange peel, peach and black tea. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with lots of toffee and caramel. Very, very old school, except it's too sweet and lacking the hop bitterness for balance.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze and a smallish, off-white head. Somewhat odd, spicy aroma - spruce? Definitely no dryhopping, at least not of any quality. Medium body, almost coffeeish and biscuity again perhaps some spruce although none seems to be added. Bitter finish. At least not horrible, but totally lacks the elegant aromatics of a proper IPA. 021121
