Open Air Shoreline Session Hazy IPA 5% 64 IBU Nice glowing yellow gold with wispy white foam. It’s got a yummy juicy aroma, medium body and tropical juicy flavor with notes of coconut. This is a session hazy but more flavorful than many full hazies I’ve had in Japan. Tap @Open Air Motomachi

Open Air New Tune Pale Ale 6% Matte orange gold with thick foam and a citrusy hop bouquet. Medium bodied with an interesting twiggy citrus hop flavor on pale crackery malts. Very crushable.

I tried to wrap up a Pilsner trilogy with Nomcraft’s 5th Anniversary brew but it wasn’t on tap so I went: Open Air The Believer NZ Pilsner 5.8% Hazy gold with thick rocky off-white foam that leaves copious lacing behind. The aroma is highly aromatic with prickly pears and apricots. Medium bodied but with a very dry finish. Sweet fruity tropical almost hazy happiness but dry Crackery malts made this eminently crushable. Great stuff and not at all what I was expecting. Beer if the day for me. Tap at CBL 2024.

Tap at Takanoya. Kind of muddy gold. Nose is yuzu, slightly vegetal chili pepper. Lightly tart, citrus, yuzu, and chilis, like whole habaneros were used. Decent but not my thing. A bit too vegetal.

Canned 330 ml. Shared with MiroB, Luka, Hrvoje and kajser27. Cloudy golden with small white head. Odd with some pear in nose. Light bodied and light bodied.
