Bottled (at 4.7%, so probably this one). Pale yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is harsh grainy and quite rubbery with some maize in it. Flavour is plastic pipe with malts and some rubber.

Dark blond in appearance. Aroma is a little sweet as is the initial flavour. It feels quite thick and sugary overall leading to a rather dry aftertaste. More than one of these would make your tongue go furry.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a huge white head. Mild cornihs and bitterhops aroma. Flavour is dry cornish with a medium level of bitterness showing through. Ends with a light acidic note mixed with a markable alcohol presence.

33 cL can. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Dry cornish aroma. Mild mouldy malt flavour, medium sweet and going into a light acidic corn flavour and endning classic pale lager bitter. Yet there is a persisting malt note into the finish. Drinkable.

Bottle. Golden lager with a reasonable head. The aroma is very yeasty and the flavour is dry, yeasty and quite watery. Overall a basic beer.

Brown bottle from Corti Bros. in Sacramento. Soft pale malt aroma with only a touch of grassy hop. Brassy gold color with a substantial white head that even laces. It has more body than most pale lagers, and the carbonation is just right. Starts rather sweet, and there is not much impression of bitter for awhile. The bitter sort of creeps up and then replaces the sweetness. Very smooth. Probably not crisp. The finish is dry, and the bitter (grassy) builds up. Ends up being a good drink. Not a run of the mill pale lager.

Strong barley aroma approaching that of mushrooms. Golden color, sudsy snow white head. Tastes like it smells, not so bad, but boring. Bitter grass finish.

Medium, just off-white head leaving rings of lace over coppery-golden beer, heavily carbonated. Frangipane, rosewood or sandlewood, but all very discreet. A bit of greenery too - freshly broken cabbage leaves. Toasted flavour, maize (it DOES contain maize, and I could bl**dy well taste it). And, apart from some alcohol and its sweetness, pretty little else. A bit perfumey again. Light to medium bodied. A short, bitterish aftertaste, as a whiff of metallic hops. Not so extra cerveza. Ought to do better.
