Bottle from Fairleys. Appearance - black with a beige head. Nose - blackcurrant, raisins and dark chocolate. Roast and liquorice. Taste - more black fruit, smoke, dark chocolate and coffee. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy middle and a toasty finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice. Taste is dark chocolate. Rich and smooth. Nice.

Bottle frome Fairleys. Appearance- deep mahogany. Cream head. Nose - raison and brown bread. Taste - fruit cake and roast. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy texture and roasty finish. Overall - good.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear deep mahogany with a thin beige head. Aromas of light roast, deep marmalade, Dundee cake. Taste is sweeter than the last red ale, hints of strawberry. Light sweet finish, but good.
