Towering tan-brown head over very carbonated virtually black beer. Green leaves, potatopeel, roast, meatroast, charcoal, liquorice, earthy. Bitter-earthy-roasted,with a serious bite - in the best sense of the word - but with a recognisable malt-sweet undercurrent. I get the oats, as well as the sugarsyrup. Thick-ish, dense, viscous; just under the alcohol-recognisable level Good carbonation. Can't really say why, but I like this. One I would not hesitate to order a repour. 7/4/7/4/15

Svart med lavt beige skum. Lukter kakaopulver, mørk sjokolade, havre og engelsk lakris. Fyldig. Smaker nøtter, noe salt lakris, stenfrukt og svisker. Middels lang.

Can from SB. Deep brown with brief, beige head. Cocoa powder, roast, chewy grains, faint iron. Very chocolatey, but a bit to leathery and chewy. Drinkable. Long, leathery finish.

Canned, from glasbanken.se. Cloudy straw colour, no head. Aroma of guava and lemon. Mid dry with medium body and clean mealy mouthfeel. Husky and mealy with saccharine and guava. Saccharine burn dominate the finish. Lacks the hop aroma, but has all the shortcomings in the malt department and drinkability of a NEIPA.
