On tap il Verne, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast and punchy earthy hops in good balance. Flavour follows accordingly, with a solid piney and earthy hop character, and a robust roasted malt backbone. Gentle bitterness and solid roast on the finish. This is very well-made.

Sampled from tap at 'Žil Verne'. A little hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-grassy and floral aroma of pineapple, carambola and some lemon peel. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter, fruity-grassy and floral taste of pineapple, carambola and lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottled 500ml. -from Pivny Raj Bratislava. Golden/amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, coconut and whiff of pineapple in the nose. Griotte, gingerbread, coconut and light pineapple with touch of white grapes and mild spices. Quite strange and interesting in a way.

On tap at Žil Verne Bratislava as Čierna India 13 and 5.2%. Probably a new beer but let it be listed here for now. Pitch black coloured, medium sized beige head, light chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, light marzipan and touch of wood with bitterish and mild hoppy finish. Bit too sweet.
