Draft: Copper color that is surprisingly clear, medium sized head and sticky lacing. Mild nose of malt, citrus, hints of wheat. Taste is more malty, light citrus, trace amounts of wheat. Barely a hint of hops.

Draft at brewpub: Orange & amber color is mostly transparent with a little haziness. Nice white head and very thick lacing. Nose is light, but floral and citrus hops are dominant. Taste is packed with floral hops, citrus, grapefruit, dandelion, and pine. The sweetness of the malt and caramel does a great job leading into a bitter, dry finish. IMO, very well done.

Draft at brewpub: Dark reddish brown color with a medium sized foamy beige head and good lacing. Nose is musky of malt and earth. Taste is dark fruits with smokey hues and an odd sweetness. The flavors were competing a bit. It could have been a little better balanced. Finish is more smokey and a little bitter.

AKA Triple Pie at Flying Pie on Fairview: Murky tan pour with a smaller head. Nose of yeast and fruits. Taste is fruity, yeast, some cloves. Very well blended flavors make this smooth and true to style.

On Tap at Sockeye: Deep mahoghany color with ruby tones. Nice lacing too. Aroma is fruity and of sweet malt. Taste is a combination of fruits, caramel, maltiness, citrus, hops, and a hint of spice. Featured a nice medium body and finished clean, moderately crisp yet smooth. I’d gladly have another...

On Tap: the brewer called this an english pale ale, I would tend to agree. Pours a nice golden color with a small head, aroma is sweet and bitter. Taste is sweet from malt, some bitterness, light citrus tones, and a bit of fruitiness. Not as intense as a esb. Very pleasant.

On Tap at the brewpub. A very murky yellowish tan with a large creamy off white head. Lots of heavy lacing. Aroma was a yeasty, banana sweet belgian symphony. Flavor however, ad these similar notes but much more subdued. Feel was thin, light and barley carbonated. The belgian flavors were faint but pleasant, wish it had a little more body.
