Copper colour with lasting head. Aroma of sweet malts. I assume this Oaked Tripel used oak chips given the intensity of vanilla like sweetness. Almost perfumed. Interesting and different from the traditional Tripel.

Black with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour are intensely malty. Dark, roasted bitterness. Copper colour with solid foaming head. Has a nice malty body, possibly with some Cara. Decent hop bitterness. Touch of citrus pith but in general is more rounded and floral. Not really in the NEIPA style but it's a good IPA.
