Aroma: coffeish malts, wood barrels, cocoa nibs and vanilla. Taste: liquorice, lot of vanilla and burnt caramel. Sticky palate. Next one, please!

On tap at Holy Mountain - Phinney Ridge, pours an opaque deep dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, bready malt, toasted caramel, and a hint of fermented out sugars. Flavour is a bit jumbled, with lots of bready malt, subdued hops, and a hint of toffee. The clarity doesn't seem to be great on this one, with the hops kind of muffled and the malts not dialed in all that well. Not a disaster by any means, but this one didn't turn out so great.

Aroma: pine needles, cantaloupe melon and grapefruit. Very fruity aroma. Taste: ripe stone fruits, yeast and pineapple. Sweet and creamy mouthfeel. Bit of Sabro aftertaste. Next one, please!

Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2024 (MBCC Yellow) 10/05/2024 Punchy juicy fruity aroma and taste, lots of pineapple and grapefruit, cantaloupe, peach accents, sweet creamy malty support with a solid bitter hoppy close. Very nice.
