(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft @ Pivovarnya Schulz Kiev. Dark brown, little tanned head. Nose is massive artificial cherry, cloying but also a lot of bad & dirty tap watery & dirty bread. Taste is watery chemical, very chemical, dirty bread, metallic, bad & dirty tap water. Real garbage, there is absolutely no way that this beer is 8 % ABV, I am making an educated guess at 3.5 % ABV. The menu clearly stated this as being a very strong beer of 8 % ABV did the waiter. Sigh these guys, this is for me the worst brewery in the world now. I cannot overstate how bad their beers are.

(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft @ Pivovarnya Schulz Kiev. Amber, dirty brown, tanned lacing head. Nose is awful burned chicory, bad coffee, herbal, burned garbage. Taste is dirty water & bread, ditch water, artificial chocolate, very thin. Dirty tap water body & thin chocolate. Really, really poor but also their least awful beer. Schulz has to be easily one of the worst breweries in the world.

(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft as Темное @ Pivovarnya Schulz Kiev. Schwarzbier according to the menu. Dark brown, tanned lacing head. Nose is chemical, burned herbal coffee ground & rotting wet leaves, awful thin herbal, burned. Taste is horrible stale massively vegetable coffee, thin, burned herbal chicory. Really off-putting but the second least worst one from the ones that I tried that I tried which should tell you something about this brewery.

(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft as Пшеничное @ Pivovarnya Schulz Kiev. Hazy citrus, creamy white. Served with a slice of lemon. Menu recommended squeezing lemon juice into the beer, it might have helped here but I didn’t bother. Nose is awful rotting spoiled wheat, rotting lemon & huge ditch water. Taste is massive butter, rotting yoghurt, spoiled bread, chemical, bad pipes water,… Rancid, really bad, bad water watery etc. like their other beers, really awful. This didn’t taste & feel anywhere near 5 % ABV.

(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft as Имбирное @ Pivovarnya Schulz Kiev. Super pale nasty golden, lacing white. Nose is massive ginger, both chemical & real. Taste is dirty ditch water, rotting yoghurt, rotting lemon & some ginger. Massively watery, rancid ditch water & spoiled yoghurt body. Ginger taste very mildly covers some of this beers awful qualities but nowhere near as much as the producers had hoped. Horribly this beer is not rock bottom for this brewery. Overall I assume that this beer is their base beer with added chemicals. This didn’t taste & feel anywhere near 5 % ABV.

Clear disgusting dirty green – I doubt that this colour was achieved by any brewing means, lacing weird artificial green head, looks quite off-putting. Overall I assume that this beer is their base beer with added chemicals. Nose is rotting yoghurt, spoiled herbs, really heavy on rotting yoghurt & some chemical, really awful. Taste is rotting vegetable, spoiled yoghurt, massively watery on top, doesn’t taste even 5 % ABV. Real garbage much like their other beers.

(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft as Светлое @ Pivovarnya Schulz Kiev. Clear golden, little white head. Nose is sweet plastic, faint esters but above all massive, extreme hand soap. Taste is extreme butter, popcorn, chemical, on top watery but ditch water, bad dirty pipes water, watery hand soap,… very thin, watery & extremely heavy butter taste. Extremely poor, I suppose this is the blond base to which they add chemicals / additives to create several of their other flavoured beers.
