Pours a hazy, orange-pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma has a pungent note of green onion/garlic upfront, along with more muted notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Can to snifter.
Appearance: jet black in color in the glass with a quarter finger's of tan foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: milk chocolate, light roasted malts, caramel/toffee character; dark fruits, subtle vanilla
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together to a fine sweet and roasty quality; mild finish of the milk chocolate, subtle roastiness and dark fruits
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; some smoothness along the tongue
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely done Baltic porter I would return to.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: very dark brown close to black in the color with a two and a half fingers of khaki foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet coffee, roasted coffee, slight earthy sweet tones, subtle toasted nuts and some cocoa powder
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together with a sweet and roasty quality about it, finishes roasty and somewhat cocoa powdery
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; semi-smooth along the tongue with a light grainy vibe rubbing against the tongue
Overall: not a bad coffee stout, I think I could come back to.

Can to mug.
Appearance: deep amber color with a two finger off-white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: nutty, bready, toasty, biscuity, and some earthy to floral hops underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together somewhat malty with a slight bitterness sliding in underneath; finishes malty to nutty sweet
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; clean smoothness along the tongue
Overall: pretty good O-fest that I would think it leans closer to the Marzen side. I'd come back to this.

16 oz can from Esker Hart, 1/22/26. Pours a fully hazy yellowish-orange color with a white head, fairly strong, streaky / drippy lace. Pineapple, grapefruit, melon, and apricot / peach. Lots of flavor. Smooth. Really tasty. Drank a can of this a few days ago, and it was awesome with the Ram & Rooster food. Just another banger from Bob and team.
