16 oz can. Aroma is chocolate and mild peanut. OK I’m still wondering why stores leave a milk stout on the shelf? Milk sugar should remain cold. This starts off with chocolate and peanut butter in the center and finishes on a sour note. As it warms the sour finish gets overwhelming. Damn it!

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. It's an opaque dark brown with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is strong coffee, vanilla and milk chocolate. Taste is roasted coffee--a bit to the bitter side--with baker's chocolate. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the strong point is the aroma.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. It's a very, very dark brown--virtually opaque--with no discernible sparkle with thick, beige ring of head with good persistence and fair soapy lacing. Aroma is strong sweet pumpkin spices with a slant toward sweetness almost like cake frosting (but not in a bad way), more nutmeg than other spices? Taste follows aroma with more cinnamon, clove and roasted malt base. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture and finish as taste. Overall, nice strong flavor and aroma. A bit thin but smooth and decent look.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. It's a lightly hazy greenish-yellow with light sparkle, thin ring of white head with no lacing. Aroma is fairly weak--almost not there. Taste is candied lemon/citrus fruit and surprisingly noticeable malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, weak. Not imperial. Disappointing.

16 oz. can traded by tfontana. Aroma is an abundance of lemon and lemon peel. Flavor is similar to white grape and lemon peel. Flavor has the lemon grape dominance with also an herb note. Texture is a good amount of juice. Really nice New England IPA!
